India and Pakistan will be in the same group in the 2026 Boys’ T20 World Cup. Cricket portal ESPNCricinfo has reported that India and Pakistan will face each other on February 15 in Colombo.

This will be the first India-Pakistan match after the controversy over the players of the two teams not shaking hands and not receiving the trophy from PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi in ​​the last Asia Cup.

ESPNCricinfo reported that the United States, Netherlands and Namibia will be in the same group with India and Pakistan. They also reported that India will play its first match against the United States in Mumbai on February 7.

After that, the team will play against Namibia in Delhi on February 12, Pakistan in Colombo on February 15 and the Netherlands in Ahmedabad on February 18. Three matches will be played every day in the group stage.

The tournament will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The tournament will run from February 7 to March 8. Pakistan will play all their matches in Colombo or Kandy.

Like the previous World Cup, this time too, the 20 teams will be divided into 4 groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eights. From there, the top four teams from the two groups will play in the semi-finals, followed by the final.

If India makes it to the Super Eights, their matches will be in Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata. The semi-finals have been kept in Mumbai. As per the plan, the final venue is Ahmedabad, but if Pakistan makes it to the final, the venue may be shifted to Colombo.
