Bogra district became the divisional champion by defeating Rajshahi district team by 28 runs in the final of the Young Tiger Under-18 Cricket Competition organized by BCB.

In the final held at Chapainawabganj District Stadium on Saturday, Bogra district team lost the toss and elected to bat first and scored 124 runs in 49 overs, losing all their wickets. Emon scored 40 and Tanvir scored 19 runs for the team. Ahmed Salekin took three wickets for Rajshahi.

In reply, Rajshahi district team scored 96 runs in 28 overs, losing all their wickets in 28 overs, with the controlled bowling of Bogra bowlers. Mustafa scored the highest score of 29 runs for the team. Akash Roy and Yakub Ali of Bogra team took four wickets each. Akash Roy of Bogra district team was selected as the Man of the Final.

After the game, the prizes were distributed by Abu Zafar Mahmuduzzaman, member secretary of the ad hoc committee of Chapai Nawabganj District Sports Organization and District Sports Officer. BCB selector Selim Hossain Sardar Sabu, Bogra District Sports Organization ad hoc committee member Khaled Mahmud Rubel, Chapainawabganj District Sports Organization ad hoc committee member Sheikh Mohammad Farid, Salauddin Rizon, Khalequzzaman, Anisur Rahman were present as special guests.
