Beat Model School and College have become the champions of Bogra district in the Prime Bank National School Cricket Championship 2025-26 organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. In the final, they defeated Bogra Police Lines School and College by a huge margin of 119 runs.

Rafid of the winning team played an impeccable innings of 93 runs and was adjudged the Man of the Match.

Beat Model School won the toss at Shahid Chandu Stadium on Friday morning and decided to bat first. But Beat Model School came under pressure after losing 2 wickets for just 14 runs due to the controlled bowling of the opponent’s bowlers. Then the team leaders Rafid and Sufian kept their cool and continued to face the opponent’s bowlers. Before the pair separated, they added a huge capital of 156 runs to the scoreboard. Rafid was out after scoring 93 runs on the team’s 170 runs. After just 2 runs, Rafid’s partner Sufian went back to the dressing room. His collection was 58 runs. After that, the batting line of Beat Model School collapsed like a sandbar. No batsman in the lower order could survive at the crease. In the end, Beat Model School’s innings ended at 210 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 45 overs. Baffin of Bogra Police Lines School and College took 3 wickets and Tamim took 2 wickets.

In reply, Police Lines School and College were bowled out for just 91 runs in 34.2 balls by the bowlers of Beat Model School. The team won by a maximum of 21 runs. Naeem’s bat scored 20 runs. Beat Model School’s Shayan took 5 wickets and Yishan took 2 wickets. Beat Model School and College captain Rafid was selected as the man of the final for his impeccable batting.

Bogra Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Masud Hossain was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony after the match. District Sports Officer Akram Hossain, Principal of Beeth Model School and College Engineer Shahabuddin Saikat, Venue Manager of Shahid Chandu Stadium Jamilur Rahman Jamil, President of Rajshahi Divisional Umpires Association Khaled Mahmud Rubel, Director of Bogra Young Tigers Cricket Academy Shahedul Islam Robi, District Coach Rifat Hasan and others were present.
