Independence ’24 became champions in the first Moslem Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament organized in memory of late cricket coach Moslem Uddin by the initiative of Bogra X Cricketers. In the final, they defeated Varnis Warriors by 4 wickets and won the title.

Independence ’24 won the toss at Shahid Chandu Stadium on Monday and sent their opponents Varnis Warriors to bat. The Warriors were under pressure at the beginning after losing their first wicket for 5 runs and their second wicket for 27 runs. Then Rafi and Zakirul brought some relief to the team. But when the team lost two wickets in a row for 57 runs and another for 61 runs, they were in extreme trouble. In the moment of danger for the team, the Warriors finally scored a challenging score of 153 runs for 7 wickets with the determination of Sohel and Fahim.

Fahim scored the highest score of 38, Rafi scored 36 and Sohel scored 32 not out. For Independence ’24, Rocky scored 3 wickets, Abir scored 2 wickets and Jiban and Paran scored 1 wicket each.
