As part of the annual activity program of the Sports Directorate on the occasion of Youth Festival 2025, the Inter-school Volleyball Competition was inaugurated on Wednesday morning at the volleyball field adjacent to Shaheed Chandu Stadium by the initiative of the Bogra District Sports Office.

The opening of the volleyball competition was announced by the chief guest, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbika Mesbaul Karim, by releasing a balloon festoon. District Education Officer Ramzan Ali Akand was present as the special guest. The event, chaired by District Sports Officer Akram Hossain, was attended by members of the Bogra District Sports Organization Ad Hoc Committee, Khaled Mahmud Rubel, volleyball coach Shamim Hossain, assistant teachers Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Rakib Hasan, Fazle Rabbi, and others.

Four institutions of Bogra Sadar participated in the competition. The educational institutions are Karatoya Multimedia School and College, S&S School and College, Lathiganj School and College, and Matidali High School.
