On the occasion of Youth Festival 2025, Government Bogra College defeated Government Azizul Haque College 4-2 in the final match of the inter-college football tournament in Bogra to become the champion.

The final match, organized by the Bogra District Administration and District Sports Office on Monday afternoon at the football field adjacent to Shahid Chandu Stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw at the scheduled time.

Goalkeeper Sifat of Government Bogra College was selected as the player of the final and the best player of the tournament.

After the match, the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Bogra, Md. Taufiqur Rahman, distributed prizes among the winners, and Bogra Superintendent of Police, Md. Zedan Al Musa, PPM, was the special guest.

The function was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) PM Imrul Kayes and was attended by Syed Aminul Haque Dewan Sajal, Member Secretary of Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organizers Association, Bogra District Officer Akram Hossain, Bogra District Sports Association Ad Hoc Committee Member Khwaja Abu Hayat Hiru, Khaled Mahmud Rubel, Mahfuzul Haque, Mominur Rashid Shine, Venue Manager of Shaheed Chandu Stadium Jamilur Rahman Jamil, among others.

During the game, the game was stopped at the last minute due to repeated clashes between the players of both the teams. Finally, the situation calmed down with the intervention of the organizing committee and security forces and the rest of the game was completed.
