Wicket being prepared
The BCB has once again chosen Bogra’s Shahid Chandu Stadium for the preparation camp ahead of the upcoming ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Bangladesh’s youth will come to Bogra this month to make the final preparations for the World Cup.
It has been reported that the special camp of the Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team heading to the World Cup will start at Shahid Chandu Stadium from December 29. It will continue until January 5. In light of the BCB’s instructions, the wicket of Shahid Chandu Stadium and all the necessary facilities of the camp are being ensured.

Bangladesh’s youth defeated India to become champions in 2020.
After the camp, Bangladesh’s youth will fly directly to Zimbabwe. The Youth Cricket World Cup will be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia from January 15 to February 6. Bangladesh’s first match will be against arch-rivals India on January 17. Bangladesh’s other two opponents in Group B are New Zealand and the United States.
Ahead of the 2020 Youth World Cup in South Africa, the Bangladesh Under-19 team held a one-month special training camp at the Shahid Chandu Stadium. Bangladesh also got positive results due to the similarity of the South African wicket with the Bogra wicket. Bangladesh became the champion after defeating the powerful India under the leadership of Akbar Ali.
Keeping that happy memory in mind, the Cricket Board has chosen Bogra for the final preparation for the World Cup this time too.
