The Zimbabwe ‘A’ cricket team is coming to Bangladesh in June for a month-long tour. During the tour, they will play 3 one-day matches and 2 four-day matches with Bangladesh ‘A’ team.

It has been reported that the Zimbabwe ‘A’ team will land at Dhaka Airport on June 3 and head straight to Bogra. After arriving in Bogra, they will practice at Shahid Chandu Stadium from June 4-7. They will face Bangladesh ‘A’ team in the first one-day international match on June 8.

After a one-day break, they will play the second one-day match in Bogra on June 10.

Then, the third and final one-day match of the series will be played at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium on June 13.

After completing the one-day series, the visitors will rush to Sylhet. The two teams will play two four-day matches there. The first four-day match will be played between June 17 and June 20, and the second and final four-day match between June 24 and June 27 will be played between the visiting Zimbabwe ‘A’ and Bangladesh ‘A’ teams.

State Minister for Local Government Mir Shahe Alam said that international cricket is returning to the Shahid Chandu Stadium with the visit of the Zimbabwe ‘A’ team. He also said that international matches will be organized soon after the necessary renovations of the stadium and with the approval of the ICC.

BCB sources said that the BCB and the National Sports Council have undertaken a very big project to renovate the Shahid Chandu Stadium, which has been neglected for a long time. There is a strong possibility that the desired renovation work will be visible next July.
